There's nothing quite like a hardwood flooring experience

Hardwood flooring gives you plenty of options and plenty of lifespans to go with it. When properly maintained, you will find these floors give you an average of 100 years, with some lasting much longer. So when you need that kind of durability, paired with some of the most stunning visuals in the flooring industry, this is a great product line to choose from.

Wood floors are so worth your while

One of the most sought-after benefits in the wood flooring line today is the extensive lifespan, which can far outlive your use of your home. Even engineered wood floors offer long life, with an average lifespan bringing you more than 30 years when properly maintained. Find out which one is best for you by considering your specific requirements.

If you have a busy household, you might think that hardwood is not the perfect option, but that certainly is not the case. When you choose the ideal species, sealant, and finish type, you'll find these all work together to create a fantastic performance that you will love years after the materials are installed. They are also easy to maintain, even if you are a parent or pet owner.

In addition to regular, daily cleaning, these floors should be maintained by a professional regularly or as necessary. Any time you see stains, water spots, or any other imperfection, be sure to contact us to take care of the situation. We will make sure your floors look and perform great as long as they are installed in your home.

Tips for choosing your perfect hardwood:

What level of the home will the wood be placed in? If you want to do the basement, or anything below ground level, you will need to go with an engineered wood. Engineered wood is 100% natural wood that is sliced thinly into several cross sections. These thin pieces of natural wood are laid at a 90 degree angle from the previous piece. This assures the customer that once the wood is laid, it will not be able to expand and contract with the changes in moisture most commonly associated with basements and spaces below ground level.

Next, you need to take into consideration what type of wear do you want to see on your floor? Some Woods are very soft and will dent and scratch easily. If you are looking for a more durable wood that is more resistant to animal nails, stiletto heels, or general wear and tear you will want a harder wood.

Lastly, you will want to look for the type of wood construction that best suits your tastes. There are generally four types to chose from, and we have a large sampling of each one. They include: 3/4 Solid hardwood flooring (pre-finished), engineered wood (pre-finished) or longstrip wood planks (pre-finished).
